To My Dearest Mom,

I know, I’m not your little girl anymore, and I’m 30 years old now. But today I went back on my childhood memories, and I don’t know whether those memories are good or bad.

Most of the time, you couldn’t be with me because of the burden you had to raise me as a single mom. I clearly remember the days I went everywhere with my grandma to find a phone so I could call you. At that time, you worked abroad, making money by doing servant work. Now I’m thinking about it, and I can’t even imagine how you made all those sacrifices. You were only 16 years old when you married my father, and he left both of us when I was 3 months old. You never married again because of me.

You are the most beautiful woman I know, and I will never be able to be a mother like you. Till today, you spent your whole life without love, but now I have the life you always dreamed about. So this is my chance to give you back what you gave to me.

Mom! Mom! Mom! I love you so much. I know you will not read this. But I just wanted to thank every single mother who raises their children with love and sacrifice.

From Your Loving Daughter!
